Lance Bass was born i Mississippi on May 4, 1979. Lance's parents are named James Irvin Bass Jr. and Diane. James Bass was a medical technologist, and Diane Bass was an English teacher. Lance had an older sister names Stacy, and they grew up in Ellisville. They were both raised in a Souther Baptist church. Ever since Lance traveled to Cape Canaveral with his father, to watch his first live space shuttle launch, Lance was certain that he wanted to be involed with space. Lance was 10 years old when he moved to Clintotn, Mississippi, and he was part of his Baptist church choir. At Clinton High School, Lance was elected vice president of his his junior class.
