As with everything, the military has its own set of dissappointments. Not everyone can handle the stress it puts on onesself. You can get PTSD (Post Tramatic Stress Disorder) if you can't handle it. Many soldiers have gotten it due to war and being away from family. Many families have lost loved ones due to war. Many families have lost their sons and daughters to PTSD. Its not unheard of to be killed in action or to be MIA (Missing in Action). Mia is when someone disappears during war.
