Elon Musk's accomplishments
Elon Musk is famously known for founding SpaceX and cofounding Tesla Motors and Paypal.
SpaceX
SpaceX stands for Space Exploration Technologies, which Musk founded in June of 2002.SpaceX develops and manufactures space launch vehicles with a focus on advancing the state of rocket technology. The company's first two launch vehicles are the Falcon 1 and Falcon 9 rockets and its first spacecraft is the Dragon. On December, 23 2008, SpaceX was given $1.6 billion by NASA for 12 launchs with their spacecrafts to the International Space Station in place of NASA's which retired in 2011. On 25 May 2012, the SpaceX Dragon vehicle docked with the ISS, making history as the first commercial company to launch and dock a vehicle to the International Space Station.
Tesla Motors
Tesla Motors is an all-electric car company based out of Palo Alto, CA. Their first car was the Tesla Roadster, an all-electric sportscar, capable of 245 miles on a charge. The first Tesla Roadster model year rolled out in 2008, marking history not only for Tesla Motors, but for the world. The Roadster was based on a Lotus Evora and many of the parts were outsourced, making it not made by tesla. In 2009, Tesla unveiled it's very first completely Tesla car concept, codenamed Whitestar, now the Model S. On June 22, 2012 the first Model S delivery was made. Again this was not only a huge milestone not only for Tesla Motors, but for the world since the Model S can go 300 miles on a charge, more than any other electric car on the road. Plus this car can hold its own against any other car, which is why it won Motor Trend's 2013 Car of the Year, Automobile Magazine's 2013 Car of the Year, Yahoo! Autos 2013 Car of the Year, and Time Magazine's Best Invention of 2012. all very prestigious awards in the auto industry. Tesla looks to be running smoothly and looks to be around for plenty of years to come.

PayPal is a global e-commerce business allowing payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet. In 2002, PayPal was bought by Ebay which is why PayPal is the main payment of the auction website.
