I joined this class 9 weeks late. I was going to a different high school then transferred over back to Newcastle. I am required to take this class. Honestly, at first I didn't want to take it because I was told that it was pretty difficult and I'm not so much a computer person. Web design is a very difficult class if you don't know the basics of HTML. I basically had to teach myself everything. HTML codes are hard to remember and to do HTML it takes a lot of practice and repitition.

With what I am knowledgable of, I have created two different web pages of my own. You will see a huge difference between the two. My first one is a biography of the band "Hillsong United." This was my first big project that I did all by myself. At the time I created this webpage, I didn't know how to use or create stylesheets to apply to my pages. When you look at it you don't see much. It's basically black and white with some images that I added in the HTML. There's not too much going on with this page.

My second webpage is about St.Jude Children's Hospital. When you look at this page, you will see how much I have grown in this class and how much I know. When you compare the two, it's sort of like a 10 year old did the first page and a semi-professional did the second webpage. I had a lot of practice between the two webpages. So on this webpage, there's a lot of color added, a color scheme, and there's a banner that I made myself, and I also used stylesheets. This webpage will tell you a little bit about St.Jude Hospital and what they're all about. Take a look for yourself and see how much progress I have made with creating HTML webpages!
