was an American astronomer, astrophysicist, cosmologist, author,
science popularizer and science communicator in astronomy and
natural sciences.
Robert Norman "Bob" Ross (October 29, 1942-July 4, 1995) was
an American painter, art instructor, and television host. He is
best known as the creator and host of The Joy of Painting, a television
program that ran for more than a decade on PBS in the United States
and Canada.
