Maximum Destruction monster truck

Career Category

My career, professional monster truck driver, falls under the category of motorsports.

Career description

A monster truck driver gets to travel the country driving monster trucks. Monster trucks are 10,000 pound trucks that have, usually supercharged, 1,500-2,000 horsepower engines and have about 20-30 inches of suspension travel. Monster Trucks stand about 11 feet tall on 66 inch tall tires. The reason they need all that suspension travel is because they can fly about 50 feet in the air, equivalent to a 5 story building. Monster trucks are probably one of the safest motorsports around because of the steel roll cages and the many restraints inside the truck. Being a monster truck driver requires being thrown around a lot inside the truck and late nights staying up and fixing the truck. Monster truck drivers
travel about 45 weeks out of the year.
